No — a Divorce Coach is not a therapist.
A therapist focuses on deep emotional healing. They help clients process trauma, grief, and mental health challenges, often by exploring past experiences and long‑standing emotional patterns. Their work centers on psychological recovery and healing the past.
A Divorce Coach, on the other hand, provides practical guidance and strategic support to help you move through the divorce process with clarity and confidence. I support you in managing emotions in the moment, improving communication, navigating conflict, creating co‑parenting plans, and preparing for legal steps. My role is to help you stay focused, make informed decisions, and move forward with a clear plan.
Therapists help you heal the past.
Divorce Coaches help you shape the future. Many people benefit from working with both professionals during their divorce journey.

No — a Divorce Coach is not a lawyer and cannot provide legal advice. Only a lawyer is qualified to give you legal guidance.
My role is to help you get ready for the legal process: organizing information, preparing questions, clarifying your goals, and giving you tools to work efficiently with your lawyer. This helps you make the most of your time, reduce overall costs, and avoid common, costly mistakes.
I’m here to connect with you before meetings with your lawyer, court appearances, or mediation sessions so you feel calmer, more prepared, and ready for whatever comes next.
I don’t replace your lawyer — I help you work with them more confidently and effectively.
